Description and properties

Application

For waterproofing roofs, foundations, building plinths, terraces, balconies, bathrooms, as well as underground reinforced concrete structures from moisture penetration.

Properties

Waterproof, water-resistant and elastic coating that maintains elasticity at low temperatures; resistance to UV radiation; high thixotropy and adhesion; Can be applied to materials for soft roofing; operating range from −60 °C to +60 °C.

Composition

Acrylic copolymer, hydrophobic mineral fillers, special additives, plasticizers, thickeners.

Characteristics

Material consumption
1,3–1,5 kg/m² with coating thickness 1 mm; depends on the condition of the surface and the qualifications of the specialist.
Layer thickness
No more than 1 mm in one pass; minimum 2 layer.
Drying time
Layer 1 mm at 20 °C: tack-free – at least 2 hours; complete drying - 24 hours.
Development of waterproofing properties
Final formation - 5–7 days.

Preparation and use

Preparation of the base and work order

Mix the composition thoroughly; dilution with water is allowed no more than 5%. The base must be clean, dry and sound; loose and highly absorbent surfaces must be treated with deep penetration primer PROMIX. Apply a layer of no more than 1 mm in one pass at least 2 layer; Apply the next layer perpendicular to the previous one with interlayer drying for at least 24 hours. Carry out work at an air temperature not lower than +5 °C.

Method of application

Hard brush, rubber spatula, mechanical application.

Limitations and warnings

Drying time depends on the thickness of the layer, temperature and humidity, and surface properties.
