Description and properties

Application

For treating dense, poorly absorbent substrates: monolithic concrete, concrete blocks, floor slabs, cement products, facing tiles, gypsum fiber boards - before plastering, puttying and tiling. Can be applied to old alkyd and oil-based coatings.

Properties

Forms a waterproof, vapor-permeable, rough surface with high resistance to mechanical stress; increases adhesion of plasters and tile adhesives; prevents slipping of the plaster composition; reduces and evens out the absorbency of the base; odorless and solvent-free; explosion- and fireproof.

Composition

Styrene-acrylic dispersion, quartz filler, special plasticizers and additives, water.

Material consumption
300–700 g/m² when applied in a single layer, depending on the condition and absorbency of the substrate.
Drying time
Not less than 6 hours at 20 °C; depends on temperature, humidity and surface properties.

Preparation and use

Preparation of the base and work order

Mix thoroughly before application. The base must be sufficiently level, clean, dry and durable; remove detachments. Apply to the prepared surface in a 1–2 layer. Carry out work at an air temperature not lower than +5 °C using protective equipment. Apply finishing coatings only after complete drying - no earlier than 6 hours at 20 °C.

Do not use under cement plaster.
